We'll hit the ground running at Olympia. Your guide will show you around the original stadium – including the finishing line and waterside gym – as well as all the religious shrines that are packed into this ancient sanctuary. You'll wander past altars and statues dedicated to the gods, plus the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Rounding off the visit is a stop at the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, where an impressive collection of artefacts includes a winged Nike, finely carved statuettes and bronze armour. After the tour, there's a chance to taste local products or explore the modern village.
