- You must have your own diving insurance, and it isn't included unless otherwise specified. If you don't have your own insurance, you can buy it from the dive centre.
- A fee for the manuals and certification must be paid locally at the dive school and is a cost of €70
- You will need to pay an extra €4 (Amount subject to change) directly to the dive school on the day this is due to everybody getting their own brand-new mouthpiece.
- With different courses being done on the same day, you may have to wait for the departure back to the hotels. The departure back to the hotels is around 15.30
- Minimum age to do the activity is 10 unless specified
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended
- Each dive is approximately 40 minutes
- The school is closed on Fridays
- All participants are required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving; some pre-existing medical conditions – eg, asthma, heart conditions, etc – may prevent you from diving
- Not suitable for expectant mothers or guests with back problems
- Not suitable for guests with poor health

Next, you'll head to Arehucas distillery to sample some of its famed rum. The distillery tour includes an introduction to the history of rum in Gran Canaria, and how what was initially a side product of sugar production became one of the best loved island products. To finish off, you'll enjoy a tasting of some of the different rums produced at the distillery.Then, as lunchtime beckons, you'll round off your trip with a tasty Canarian lunch made with locally produced ingredients at a family-run restaurant.
