Segundo Amália Rodrigues, a grande fadista, "A questão é sentir o fado. Porque o fado não se canta, acontece. Não se explica, apenas se sente." O projeto "Fado by Casa da Guitarra" pretende representar a essência deste género musical que lhe será oferecido. Durante o concerto de uma hora de duração, entrará em contacto com a cultura portuguesa única, com os instrumentos de corda tradicionais portugueses e com o vinho – profundamente ligado à história portuguesa. A apresentação acústica de fado decorre num ambiente intimista, com uma cantora principal, acompanhada por um guitarrista português e um viola de fado, que ocasionalmente empresta a sua voz às canções de fado. Um copo de vinho do Porto é servido durante o interlúdio.
