Live a unique, intense and curious experience, discovering Canelli, a Piedmontese town in the province of Asti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the valley of the Belbo River. Its cellars, known as the 'Cattedrali Sotterranee' (Underground Cathedrals), wind underneath the entire city sinking for several floors into the bowels of the tuffaceous hills, creating real environments of ingenious architecture with a constant temperature, where excellent wines from these lands age.
You will meet your guide and take part in a pleasant walk along 'La via degli innamorati di Canelli', a romantic path inspired by the boyfriends of Raymond Peynet, the famous French illustrator and creator of the characters of "Les Amoureux" who had designed a historic tile dedicated to them in Canelli. Along the path you will see several works of art created by local artists inspired by love, an open-air exhibition with a romantic atmosphere up to the top of the hill, at the Unesco Belvedere, from where you will admire the panorama of Canelli and all the surrounding landscape. The tour will continue by visiting the city center, where you can admire the Liberty side.
Later, you will have lunch in a typical restaurant in Canelli, located inside one of the underground cathedrals.
In the afternoon you will visit the Cantine Bosca, UNESCO World Heritage Underground Cathedral, with a final tasting of wines and local products and where you will receive a bottle of wine as a gift.
