Ojców National Park is approx. 16 km from Kraków. Its origins date back to prehistoric times - the cozy caves and the abundance of flint necessary to make tools were the main reasons for the people to settle here. Spend a day in nature, see the caves and rock formations and marvel at the rich flora and fauna of the Jura Upland.
During the trip, you will be able to see the most beautiful places of Ojców National Park. You will get access to a digital map with marked objects that are worth visiting, including:
- Dark Cave; (remember to book this cave in advance, if you want to visit it)
- Krakow Gate;
- Diotima Needle;
- ruins of a medieval castle in Ojców.
You will get a chance to visit the park independently. Take all the time you want to stroll around, get photographs or relax in the shadow of secular trees.
After a walk along the picturesque routes, regain strength during lunch. The charming location of Piwnica pod Nietoperzem Restaurant will be a perfect closure of a beautiful day. You will have a possibility to choose between:
- trout with potatoes;
- potato pancakes with goulash, or
- potato pancakes with mushrooms
Children can taste either pancakes with fruits and cheese or chicken filet with french fries and salad. Water is included in the meal.
