Explore the fountains and squares of Baroque Rome on a walking tour of two hours and visit some of the most famous locations in the Eternal City. You can admire the Trevi Fountain, see the ancient site of the Stadium of Domitian, and much more.
Together with your guide, you'll explore the streets and fountains of Rome and you'll dive deep into its art, architecture and legend. You'll start your experience in Piazza di Spagna, at the base of the Spanish Steps near the charming Boat Fountain, the Baroque fountain in the shape of a half-sunken ship. You'll continue touring the neighborhood to see the famous Trevi fountain, set against the Palazzo Poli. If you wish, you can throw a coin into the fountain. As legend has it, this will ensure that one day you'll return to Rome.
Then, you'll be taken to the Pantheon, built in ancient times for the gods of Olympus and one of the best-preserved monuments of ancient Rome. Once inside, you'll have the chance to admire the largest unreinforced concrete dome in the world before heading to Piazza Navona, built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian. Now one of the most elaborate of the baroque squares of Rome, among its many highlights is Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers. You'll end your walk Campo de 'Fiori the site of a medieval market and once used for public executions. In the center of the square, you will see a bronze statue of the Dominican monk and philosopher Giordano Bruno, who was burned at the stake for heresy in 1600.
