What to expect

Pavlovsky Palace was the residence of Emperor Paul I, built in the style of the late 18th - early 19th centuries. Outstanding architects, decorators and painters of that epoch took part in its creation: C. Cameron, V. Brenna, A. Voronikhin, G. Quarenghi, C. Rossi, P. Gonzago, etc. Its unique appearance and interior have been the home of Empress Maria Feodorovna herself. You will see the interior decorations on a tour of the palace led by a museum employee. You may visit the palace only together with the group you are in.

Pavlovsky Park covers an area of 600 hectares, it is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Europe. After visiting the palace, which will amaze you with its harmony and refined taste, a walk through Pavlovsky Park awaits you. The scale of the park will pleasantly impress you. The entire territory of the park is decorated with structures created by the best architects of the time: the Aviary Garden, the Pavilion of the Three Graces, the Monument to Parents, the Mausoleum of Paul I, the Bridge of the Centaurs and others. The territory of the park is filled with the original sculptures. If you're lucky, you can feed the local squirrels.
