Leave the crowded streets of Amsterdam behind you and drive south onto winding roads. The first stop will be at the Amstel houseboat area where you’ll learn more about Dutch houseboats. The windmill is perfect for your personal postcard picture. Continue your ride and have first a break at the historic Horse Stop Café and then a short village walk in Ouderkerk at the Amstel.
The last stop is at your choice: you can have a short walk in the Amsterdam Forest area and visit a goat farm where you can buy local products. Otherwise, follow the Amstel river back towards the city while stopping at a pub along the river and enjoy a nice cold Amstel beer.
