Visit the Acropolis and Athens’ most significant sights on a full-day tour!
The first stop of your tour is at the famous Acropolis of Athens, where you will be able to view closely the magnificent monuments and the Parthenon, the Propylaia, the Temple of Nike, and the Erechtheion with its Caryatids. Afterwards, you will visit the Acropolis museum and then you will drive to Constitution Square, where in front of the Parliament there is the Monument of the Unknown Soldier.
Your next stop is at the Panathenean Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. Then you will reach Panepistimiou Avenue to see the Academy and the National Library. You will continue your route to visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s arch, one of the most important ancient monuments from the Roman time of Athens. Walk from Acropolis to the Plaka area where you will make a stop for lunch. After lunch, your private driver will take you to visit the Roman agora and the Greek ancient agora. Your route ends at Lycabettus hill where you will experience a panoramic view of Athens.
