On your way to the delphi Oracle on a two hour drive, you'll pass the Battlefield of Plataea and Marathon, ancient cities such as Thebes and Thespies and the mountaineous ski resort Arachova village.
You'll visit the temple of Athena Pronea where you'll find the Tholos monument and the kastalia spring close by before heading to the Delphi archaeological site and museum and have lunch in a local restaurant with a great view of the sea.
Heading higher up to Mount Parnassus about 1400 meters you'll pass through the mountain peaks where you'll find the cave Korikion Andron, the cave of God Pan and the first oracle in the area at least 4000 BC years old. Going down the other side of the mountain, you'll visit the ancient city of Lilaia, where the spring of the river Kifissos is located. There are also two ancient temples Apollo and Artemis with strange sign and symbols of the Knight Templar’s on their stones.
Before your trip back to Athens,you'll also see the ancient city of Chaeronea, the philosopher Plutarch's birthplace and where the statue of the Chaeronea lion is located.
