It stretches between the historic old towns of Krems and Stein and is just a few steps away from the Danube, the Danube Cycle Path and the Krems boat landing stage – ideal for a relaxing cultural break.

The Landesgalerie Niederösterreich (Lower Austria State Gallery), the Karikaturmuseum Krems and the Kunsthalle Krems await you at Museumsplatz. The Forum Frohner and the Doninikanerkirche Krems complete the offer. The various museums present a varied programme of contemporary art, masterpieces by world famous Austrian artists, landscape paintings by Wachau painters, caricatures, photography and installations. Know in advance:

Guests will need to exchange their voucher for an official ticket at the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich. Once exchanged, your super combo ticket grants you a single entry to each location during the museum's operating hours. The tickets can be used on different days and are valid for one year from the date of purchase
The super combo ticket includes entrance to the following locations: Landesgalerie Niederösterreich, Kunsthalle Krems, Karikaturmuseum Krems, Formum Frohner and Musumkrems
Hours: from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm
Note the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich and the Kunsthalle Krems are closed on Mondays
The Karikaturmuseum Krems is open daily
General closing days for all museums: December 24. and 31. and January 1st
