Together with your guide, you'll travel along the Great Orme Road, with spectacular views from the cliffside of the Irish Sea and Anglesey. You'll discover the Smallest House in Britain - just 72 inches by 122 inches high and a national treasure on Conwy's quayside before moving on to the bustling mountain village of Betws y Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and a hive of activity with a distinctly Alpine feel.

Your guide will introduce you to the Welsh culture and heritage along the way and uncover all the secrets of this beautiful and fascinating part of the country!

The team aim to make your time spent fun, exciting, memorable and also informative. The tour offers the chance to learn about Welsh culture and heritage, and to learn some tales and myths still spoken of to this very day in the mountains and national park. The tour never fails to deliver as a superior package is offered in comparison to anywhere in the UK due to the location and proximity to the national park, which means you spend more time sightseeing and exploring, instead of long hours to get from A to B.

Together with your guide you will spend the day visiting the highlights of this spectacular area sightseeing and exploring, traveling around the spectacular Conwy Valley in the Snowdonia National Park and its charming beauty spots and spectacular ancient castle.

It’s your tour, but our passion. We’ve got you covered.

Itinerary

  • Great Orme: Start your day with a drive on the Great Orme Road, with spectacular views of cliffs, wildlife, and the Irish Sea and Anglesey whilst learning about Llandudno's history and the Orme's ancient past.
  • Conwy Castle and village walls: This UNESCO world heritage site is your first stop and may just be the highlight of your day: take a tour of the ancient Conwy Town and Castle. Walk the castle walls, stroll along the Conwy estuary, see some old Tudor houses, and take in traditional Welsh art and craft shops
  • Plas Mawr: In town, you’ll also get a chance to visit the finest surviving townhouse of the Elizabethan era to be found anywhere in Britain, and step back in time wandering from room to room. This was the hight of lavish living back in the day.
  • Visit the Smallest House in Great Britain and national treasure on Conwy’s quayside. The Smallest House in Great Britain is just 72 inches wide by 122 inches high. The house may be small but it’s extremely practical - there’s just enough room for a single bed, a fireplace and a coal bunker. It has been visited and marvelled at by thousands of people from around the world
  • Bodnant Gardens: Visit the winner of the national trust botanical garden award. This beautiful setting of a garden has Snowdonia as its backdrop. Always colorful, and always spectacular. A visit to these gardens never disappoint the tens of thousands of visitors every year
  • Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont: A chance to get a wonderful photo of a picturesque setting of the 15th-century grade II listed building, situated on the left bank of the River Conwy across Pont Fawr and the indigo jones bridge
  • Betws y Coed: Betws Y Coed (a bustling mountain village) where 4 rivers converge, is known as the ‘Gateway to Snowdonia’ and is a hive of outdoor activity. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel enhanced by the dense Gwydyr Forest surrounding. Take a leisurely stroll around, or walk along the river's edge, and enjoy the local shops.
  • Swallow Falls: An area of natural beauty where the River Llugwy flows through a narrow chasm creating a spectacular waterfall amongst a background of beech, conifer and birch trees. The falls can be viewed from a location above the river, or there are steps leading down to a platform close to the river edge.
  • Ugly House: A brief stop at a very unique looking house. Named as the Ugly house, however it has a distinct beauty about it, as well as an interesting history.
  • Adventure Park Snowdonia: On route back you'll take a stop at the world's first inland surf lagoon and the adventure park. With a great viewing area, sit back and watch the waves, and the skilled surfers riding the waves of the fresh cold mountain water that runs down from the mountains above dolgarog.
