Day trip to Como from Milan

Take a break from the big city life of Milan and spend a day discovering the relaxed beauty of the town of Como and its lake. Como is famous as one of the most sought after destinations by tourists thanks to its enviable position on the shores of the lake, framed by the embrace of the hills. Como is a city of culture and art and the historical center features elements from its Roman and medieval past, as well as religious buildings. After being picked up from your hotel, you'll be taken to the train station where you'll board a train for Como. Once you've arrived, you'll be guided through the city streets to discover the famous “Broletto” - town hall Palace, the eighteenth-century “Teatro Sociale” and the church of San Fedele - a fine example of the Romanesque style. You'll also visit the Cathedral of Como and you'll enjoy a ride on the funicular. The morning will end at the Porta Torre, also known as Torre di Porta Vittoria, a fortified tower located right inside the town.
Once the tour is over, your guide will recommend where to taste the best culinary specialties and, after the lunch stop, you'll head back to Milan.
