What to expect

The Roman Forum was the heart of Ancient Rome's public life and according to tradition, it is the place where Rome was born. Discover curious myths about Remus and Romulus and the Eternal City while overlooking this magical place from the Palatine Hill. Then, after the sunset, experience an interactive light show choosing between the Forum of Augustus and the Forum of Caesar.

The Forum of Augustus evening show is an amazing experience that catapults you back to Augustus' reign in Ancient Rome combining lights, projections, music, sound effects, and narration in 6 languages. Discover a magnificent archaeological site, once the center of city life in ancient Rome, and enjoy the multimedia show surrounded by the still visible marbles of the Forum of Augustus. The commentary has been written and arranged by Piero Angela, one of the most important science journalists and writers in Italy.

The Forum of Caesar evening show gives visitors mind-blowing portrayals of life in Ancient Rome via visuals, sound effects, and projections on the ruins. Enjoy a spectacular show that will literally be the highlight of your trip to Rome! Narrated by Piero Angela and accompanied by reconstructions and videos, the story starts from the history of the excavations made for the construction of Via dei Fori Imperiali, when an “army” of 1500 construction workers were mobilized in an unprecedented work: raising an entire neighborhood and digging out the area until the level of ancient Rome was reached.
