This immense moated castle is located in Kent and has 1000 years of history. Known as 'The Loveliest Castle in the World', the castle is surrounded by 500 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens.

Originally built in 1119 as a fortress in the time of Norman intrusions to England, the castle has been adapted and added to many times over the years. It became a royal residence in 1278 and was subsequently home to six of England’s queens. Today, the elegant lakeside palace that stands on two islands is one of the most popular tourist attractions in England.

Walk in the footsteps of medieval queens, admire the lavish gardens or enjoy falconry demonstrations on the grounds. The castle also boasts an intricate labyrinth hedge maze, a golf course, the world’s only dog collar museum and an aviary with over 100 species of bird, amongst other attractions.
