You will start with a visit to Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, a true jewel of Renaissance architecture with its straight staircase. Its history mixed with royalty, conspiracies and passion will not leave you indifferent. Then, Château de Villandry, a jewel of French heritage built during the Renaissance. Your guide will accompany you through the remarkable formal gardens of Villandry, of breathtaking beauty and delicacy.
After lunch, you will discover Loire Valley wines. Your guide will share his/her knowledge with you, to help you understand the diversity of Loire wines and their specific terroir.
We will first head towards Vouvray, mostly known for its sparkling white wines. Meet a local winemaker at a winery. Visit the traditional vat room and the underground cellars. For the second wine tasting of the afternoon, in the area of Amboise, you will discover the range of wines that are produced there: white, rosé, red or sparkling.
Throughout the afternoon, you will improve your knowledge regarding wine-making and, of course, wine tasting.
