From picking to manufacturing, old presses to new technologies: The Olive Oil Museum offers a unique insight into the Mediterranean recipes' most prestigious condiment.
You will enjoy an entertaining visit featuring an original scenography, audioguides (English/French) and multimedia presentations.
You will have Olive Oil Tasting and Wine Tastings as Well! The Olive Oil Museum is located at Domaine de La Royère, where AOP Luberon appellation wines have been produced for over 30 years. A dozen of cuvées are available for tasting in white, rosé and red – in addition to the olive oils that are pressed on-site in the modern mill.
You will discover a modern and ethical production site. La Royère began in 2017 an effort to convert to organic practices for the cultivation of its olive groves and vineyard.
In order to take full advantage of the crops’ potential, the Domaine also elaborates a natural sweet wine that stems from the muscatel grapevine and produces spirits in-house with the use of a copper still.
