Since 1991, Nausicaá’s mission has been to raise the public’s awareness of the challenges of ocean preservation. Over 30 years, more than 20 million visitors, including 5.2 million schoolchildren, have been made aware of the beauty and fragility of the oceans. Nausicaá is also a player committed to initiatives to preserve and conserve endangered species. There are 20 European inter-aquarium conservation programmes enabling more than 2,000 births every year.
