What to expect

Live a unique experience with the Sea Life Discovery Plus program, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with three of the most fun and lovely marine mammals’ species, manatees, sea lions, and dolphins!

First, you'll take a ferry and journey through the amazing crystal-clear waters of Cancun. Aboard the ferry, you can enjoy the view and have a delicious continental breakfast. After this relaxing journey, you’ll set foot on the facilities of Dolphin Discovery-Isla Mujeres, where you'll start this touching and fun experience.

You’ll interact with dolphins and feel the adrenaline rush through your veins as they pull you with their dorsal fins and push you from your feet to rise above the water. You’ll have a blast with the sea lions, as they are full of energy and eager to play with you, and share a relaxing time with the charming and cuddly manatees.

You can also relax under the warm Caribbean weather laying down on our comfortable lounge chairs, taking a dive in our refreshing pool and trying the delicacies from the buffet menu and the national open bar.

What to remember

For safety reasons, women with 5 months of pregnancy or more can't participate in any of the aquatic programs
Women with less than 5 months of pregnancy can only participate in the Encounter program if accompanied by another adult and after signing a Responsibility Form
It's important to arrive 30 minutes before your program, remember you'll receive a short briefing before your swim
Remember to use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin, the environment, and marine species
For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is prohibited
All participants must be at least 1.18m (3.9ft) to participate in snorkel activities
Children over 1m (3.3ft) pay dock fee
Children must be over 1.40m (4.6ft) to participate in the Sea Lion program
Children must be over 1m (3.3ft) to participate in the Manatee program
Children over 1.40m (4.6ft) can participate in any of the dolphin programs by paying the adult rate
Children over 1.18m (3.9ft) up to 1.40m (4.6ft) must be accompanied by a paying adult
