Join the local guides to comfortably explore part of Crete's mainland, inaccessible to buses or minivans.
Early in the morning, visit the 3000/5000-year-old olive tree. You'll reach the oil mill and winery in Anoskeli, where professional sommeliers and wine and olive oil producers will inform you about their products. This is where the most adventurous part of the tour begins: approaching to the White Mountains from Sebronas Gorge and driving along rough roads. The landscape here changes very quickly, and many goats and sheep are in the area year-round. You'll visit the entrance to Samaria Gorge, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, to enjoy lunch - consisting of traditional Cretan flavors with season salad, wine and dessert - at an altitude of 1200 m with magnificent views of the White Mountains and Mount Pachnes.
On the way back you'll stop at 1000 m altitude to enjoy the view from above and take photos. Heading to Chania, you will observe the island's biodiversity and the beauty of nature: from the cypress forest, you will quickly reach the valley with lemon, orange, avocado and olive trees.
