You'll depart in the morning from Colmar, the heart of the Alsace wine region, and travel along the wine trail in comfortable air-conditioned transport to visit the quaint villages of Hunawihr, Riquewihr, and Ribeauvillé. The colorful houses and cobblestoned streets make these centuries-old villages truly picturesque.
After a stop for lunch, you'll be taken to the medieval Haut-Koenigsbourg fortress on the Vosges mountains. Contemplate the stunning view down on the wine road trail and the black forest mountain in front, before discovering the impressive castle and its history since 1147.
You’ll continue along the wine route before arriving at a traditional Alsatian winemaker to experience the established methods of local winemaking and of course the opportunity to sample the results.
You'll travel back along the wine route, enjoying the views of the rolling green hills and abundant vineyards to arrive comfortably back to the meeting point in Colmar around 5.30 pm
