The tour begins either in Guayaquil or Cuenca. From Guayaquil, you'll enjoy a drive through the beautiful agricultural area of the lowlands, where you'll see the great diversity of products grown there. After an hour's drive, you'll visit one of the local cocoa farms where the natives will show you some interesting features of the local agriculture. Your guide will explain the importance of this product in the local economy and you'll find not only cocoa beans but also bananas, coffee, passion fruit and more.
Later, you'll continue your trip to the highlands through the famous Andes, where the Cajas National Park is located. This park is one of the most important protected areas in southern Ecuador and the main source of water for the city of Cuenca. You'll marvel at the landscape and ecosystems of Queñua and Páramo, where you can take short walks.
After a day full of beautiful landscapes, you'll enjoy a panoramic trip back to your hotel.
