The adventure starts at a historic bakery. Find out how typical local bread, the "Ferrarese couple", is made. Its origins date back to 1536 during the Este Duchy. The famous "couple" is characterized by a particular shape with two bread croissants twisted and joined together.
Continue the journey to learn about another product that has obtained the PGI brand: the authentic "panpepato". It is a dessert made of chocolate, spices and dried fruit according to the original recipe from the 15th century. It will surely leave you satisfied with its excellent qualities and unique taste.
During the final tasting experience, you will sample typical salami from the Ferrara area or, optionally, "cappellacci di zucca" (tortelli stuffed with squash). All delicacies will be served together with typical Bosco Eliceo wines, whose origins date back 500 years.
