The Maligne Valley is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, and it has geological features unique in the world. Search for abundant wildlife and learn more about the history and natural wonders of the area. You'll make a 30-minute stop at Maligne Canyon to explore the two bridges and soak up the fantastic views of the cascading waterfall. The tour continues into the sub-alpine forests to Medicine Lake. From there, you'll continue up through a forest that is prime habitat for moose and bears. Sightings are common but not guaranteed!
Then, at world-famous Maligne Lake, you'll go for 3 to 4-km interpretive nature walk. Take in beautiful lakeshore vistas before following the easy-grade trail loop back into the forested surroundings. Along the way, your guide shares interesting ecological facts, and you may even spot some resident wildlife.
