Your first stop will be the National Palace of Queluz, the official residence of Prince John VI. Its beautiful gardens and Rococo architecture will dazzles you with its sumptuousness. Then travel to the center of Sintra, where you will visit either the castle or the national palace, and even go through the colorful streets of the village contrasting with the bright green of the mountain.
Travel through the roads that generated so many legends over the centuries. The morning however will not end without first making a stop at the Quinta da Regaleira, the result of a man in love with the arts. For lunch, taste one of the best Portuguese dishes. The afternoon will begin with a visit to the most famous and magical palace of this tour, the Pena Palace. Built 500 meters above sea level, it has often been considered the most beautiful palace of Europe and the most beautiful in the world. Its colorful architectural extravagance (neo-Moorish, neo-Gothic and neo-Manueline with elements of oriental architecture) gives off an exotic character that is accentuated by the lush vegetation of Pena Park.
You will then proceed to the last, but not least, Monserrate Palace, a kind of palace of a thousand and one nights, that is its charm and romanticism. The return to Lisbon will be made passing through the picturesque village of Cascais, where you can end the afternoon sitting by the sea, sipping a beer with a seafood dish or eating one of the best ice creams in the world in Santini. Back on the road, pass by the Estoril Coast with its vast and beautiful beaches. In Lisbon, return to your hotel with the certainty that you spent a memorable day at dream locations.
