Check in at the tour operator's office, then depart the city for Ávila aboard air-conditioned coaches. Begin with a stop at Ávila, renowned for its preserved fortifications. Embark on a guided walking tour of the Old Town, exploring Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces, and the fortified cathedral. Witness the Walls of Ávila, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and soak in the history they've witnessed over time.
Proceed to Segovia, where the group divides into two. Those opting for independent exploration will enjoy approximately three hours of free time. Others will head to the restaurant for a meal, featuring a gastronomic lunch with roast suckling pig or a courtesy tapa and drink for non-gastronomic lunch participants. After lunch, monument tour participants will rejoin the guide for a stroll through Segovia's old Jewish quarter, an exterior view of the Cathedral, and an exploration of the Alcazar of Segovia, a magnificent fortress.
If you chose to explore Segovia independently, reconvene with the group at the agreed time for the return journey to Madrid.
