Join your guide on this cultural immersion cycling tour of Marrakech. Pedalling through different neighbourhoods with a local is a unique way to discover Marrakech and get to know its highlights, both old and new. You'll pass by some of the city's most famous landmarks, such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Kasbah, and the Agdal gardens - all introduced with the benefit of local insight.
But the real highlight of this experience is visiting parts of the city that are not included in most tours. First, we'll cycle through the historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, all narrow streets and traditional architecture. Next, we'll move on to Gueliz, which features a more modern vibe with its cafes and shops.
Along the way, we'll make stops at a public bakery where locals buy bread, a ‘hammam' – traditional Moroccan bathhouse, and a typical café where you can try some juice and local sweets. To round off, we'll visit the enormous second-hand market followed by the Zaouia de Sidi Bel Abbès, the resting place of one of the seven Saints of Marrakech.
