Swamp creatures, seeing our boats every day, recognize them as part of their normal environment and will pop up from the underbrush and among the moss-covered trees and shrubs, often coming directly to the boat.
In the safety and comfort of the boat, you can actually get within a few feet of the jumping alligators. As your boat traverses the waterways, you will learn about the unique history of the Cajun town of Frenier in the Manchac Swamp.
