The flower market is the shining jewel of Cours Saleya and has been in action for over 120 years. Take in the explosion of bright colours and scents as you stroll among sunflowers, lilies and roses. Surrounded by historic buildings, bars, restaurants and the turquoise sea only across the road – it’s ranked among France’s 100 most picturesque markets.
Under brightly striped awnings, seasonal Mediterranean fruit and vegetable stalls offer seasonal produce along with dried fruits, nuts, olives and spices. Don’t miss out on some local street food while you’re here too – the Niçois speciality ‘socca’ at Ches Thérésa.
