What to expect

A former railway station built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, the Musée d'Orsay is located on the west bank of the east bank of the Seine and is a veritable guardian of some of the most incredible art collections in the world that were built between 1848 and 1914.

To begin, you will meet your guide at the entrance to the museum and enjoy direct access for an extraordinary guided tour in small groups.

The museum houses a number of permanent exhibitions and sculptures, which take place in the old station throughout the year, but it is best known for its collection of Impressionist masters; Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, and Auguste Renoir, Van Gogh, to name but a few.
