Spend an evening discovering folk traditions from the Czech Republic in a traditional Prague wine cellar, combining music, dance and local flavours. After hotel pick-up, you'll travel by private bus through the historic centre of Prague to the wine cellar. Once seated, dinner is served with a selection of Czech dishes, accompanied by beer, wine and other drinks.
Throughout the evening, four musicians perform folk music from different regions of the country. The programme includes Bohemian, Moravian and Slovak folk and gypsy songs, offering an introduction to traditional sounds and rhythms. You'll also hear characteristic folk instruments such as the hammer dulcimer, fujara (shepherd's whistle) and bagpipe.
After a short break, you're invited to share your own international music and, if you wish, join in with dancing and singing. The evening concludes with a short classical concert inspired by folk dances, featuring works by composers such as Smetana, Dvořák, Brahms, Sarasate, Mozart and Monti. Each night’s programme reflects the mood of the audience, making every experience different. At the end of the evening, you'll be transferred back to your hotel.
