Located in Ludes, a village classified as Premier Cru, Canard-Duchêne has been at the heart of the greatest Pinot Noir terroirs of the Montagne de Reims since 1868, found halfway between Reims and Epernay.
You'll discover part of the six kilometers of the House's cellars and the main stages in the production of the champagnes. During the high point of this experience, you will learn how to saber a Canard-Duchêne cuvée. A technical explanation will be given to you before the sabering (a technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber) in order to give you the right gestures and to teach you the art of sabering. This initiation will be practiced outdoors, with the saber of the House, in the Parc de Canard-Duchêne.
Finally, you will have a taste of the sabré wine and weather permitting, a guided tour of the vineyard will complete your visit.
