On this combined tour, you'll learn about the amazing whales and head out to the sea to spot them! A whale watching tour in Faxaflói Bay outside of Reykjavik and a visit to the Whales of Iceland exhibition will give you a good insight into the lives of these fantastic creatures. You can choose if you want to start with a whale watching tour or a trip to the Whales of Iceland exhibition, they are located about a 12-minute walk from each other.
Set sail onboard a Classic or Express whale watching tour where you can spot whales in their natural habitat. Humpback whales, minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises are commonly spotted in Faxaflói Bay. It can be difficult to really understand how huge these animals are in the water, but on at the Whale of Iceland exhibition, you can see full-scale models of them and get a better understanding.
