Hadrian's Villa is the largest and most luxurious residence ever made in the countryside, with its fabulous and impressive array of imperial palaces, thermal baths, temples, theatres and pools.
A short drive away from there is Villa D'Este, which is one of the most enchanting of the late Renaissance. This Villa was commissioned by Cardinal Ippolito II d'Este, son of Alfonso I d'Este and Lucrezia Borgia and grandson of Pope Alexander VI. It is famous for its unbelievably beautiful gardens, marvelous fountains, breathtaking waterfalls and centenary trees.
You will have the chance to appreciate the beauty of those amazing Villas with a tour guide who will be there with you to explain everything you look at.
The tour will depart at 9.30am from the designated meeting point to arrive at Hadrian's Villa where the guided tour will begin. You will then have about a 45 minutes break for lunch. Afterwards, board the coach and head off to Villa d'Este which you will explore with your tour guide. The coach will take you back to the designated meeting point, arriving at 4.30pm.
