Your first stop will be at Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the place where Simón Bolívar died on December 17th of 1830. This place is a historic building of the XVII century with an enormous diversity of native trees, stunning gardens, and impressive artwork.
Next, you'll make a quick visit to Eduardo Santos Soccer Stadium, where you'll find a sculpture of world-famous player Carlos 'El Pibe' Valderrama before moving to the Historic Center of Santa Marta. You'll walk through streets full of history, architectural jewels, parks, and colonial plazas, and enter the Santa Marta's Cathedral, the first church built in South America. Later, you'll visit the Gold Museum, where you'll be able to appreciate the richness of the Tayrona culture, their beliefs, myths, and crafts.
Before returning you to your hotel, you'll go to Taganga's Lookout, where you'll enjoy the magnificent view of Taganga and the Caribbean Sea.
