The town of Nordeste in São Miguel is well-known due to its panoramic viewpoints over the ocean as well as its waterfalls and vegetation. Joining this experience, you'll have the possibility to discover this area on a comfortable van accompanied by a local guide.
The tour will begin in the morning visiting the viewpoint of Santa Iria, where you'll relish the views over the northern coast of São Miguel. Then you'll visit the town of Nordeste, where you'll pass by some points of interests such as the 7 Arches Bridge and the Church of São Jorge. The experience will continue in Pico do Bartolomeu where you'll have the opportunity to admire the landscape, and then you'll see the Centro Ambiental do Priolo, Ponta do Sossego, and Vista dos Barcos.
After the first time of the tour, you'll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before going towards the famous viewpoint of Vigia da Baleia (the Whale’s viewpoint), and the well-known park of Ribeira dos Caldeirões. Finally, the experience will end with a stop at the viewpoint of Coroa da Mata, where you'll have the opportunity to admire the coastline before slowly going back to Ponta Delgada.
