The inside story
Royal Djurgården is a game park island located in central Stockholm, a green oasis that carries over 400 years of recreation and entertainment tradition, making it a favorite amongst locals and tourists alike. One of its most visited attractions is without a doubt the Gröna Lund amusement park which opened in the late 19th century, but the island is also rich in historical buildings, galleries and museums. Some must-sees include the Skansen open-air museum, the interactive exhibition at the Abba museum, as well as the Vasa museum which gives you the chance to explore the world's only preserved ship from the 17th century.
