These remains are very useful to understand how the building looked like in the past when it really was an Islamic Alcazar.
Go through the corridors where the history of the building is displayed. Listen to the guide to know what happened to this Alcazar during the Spanish civil war. See the consequences of the War in the building. Admire an exceptional collection of real armours which date back from the 16th century. Visit the marvellous two stories inner courtyard, decorated with granitic columns and round arches. Walk through Charles I courtyard and stop in front of the northern façade, an incredible example of Spanish renaissance architecture.
