Know in advance:

• Due to the religious nature of the Basilica, all individuals, regardless of gender, must cover their shoulders and knees. A scarf or shawl is acceptable. The local operator cannot be held responsible for those denied entry
• Exclusive Early Entry to Doge's Palace is only possible with the 8:00 am booking time
• If access to the terrace at St. Mark's Basilica is unavailable due to limited ticket availability, access to the Pala d'Oro (Golden Altar) will be offered instead. This adjustment ensures you avoid long queues during peak travel seasons and still enjoy the basilica's most treasured highlights
• If the local municipality restricts access due to high tide and there are no walkways available, the guide will modify the itinerary to include alternate dry paths whenever possible
• No refund will be provided if high tide prevents certain parts of the tour, but adjustments to the route will be made for your safety and comfort
• If access is restricted due to private events inside St. Mark's Basilica and/or Doge's Palace, the local operator cannot be held responsible, and no refund will be issued
• All guests must supply their full name that matches a valid ID at the time of the booking. Should you fail to provide these, your reservation will be cancelled. Please note that a photo ID is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica. Name changes are not permitted

• Appropriate footwear (e.g. boots) in case of high tide
• A valid photo ID is mandatory for entry to St. Mark's Basilica
