What to expect

Your first stop on this full-day excursion is Murano, where you will visit a local glass factory to discover why the island is renowned for its glassworks. Watch a skilled craftsman demonstrate glass making and enjoy an hour on the island to shop at one of the many glass shops.

Next, head to Burano, known for its lace and brightly colored houses. Follow the guide into the heart of the city and take advantage of 2 hours of free time to buy a good lunch, taste typical Venetian aperitifs, or have ice cream in one of the many bars.

Finally, venture from Burano to Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. Spend an hour of free time when you can go and see the Venetian-Byzantine mosaics at the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta. You will return to San Marco in the early evening.

From Venezia San Marco, meet the guide at Riva degli Schiavoni 4136, in front of Caserma Cornoldi at piers 1/2/3. / From the train station, meet the guide at the small piers in front of KFC Restaurant (situated near the Calatrava Bridge).

What to remember

Know in advance:

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time
On days of important influxes, the order of visits to the islands of Murano and Torcello could be converted
Take your voucher with you (printed or electronic) and show it to the assistant at the meeting point in order to be allowed on board
In particular weather conditions (for example in case of fog) or adverse weather conditions, the service may not be regular and the tour may be suspended
The boat will depart promptly at the end of each stop, so make sure to take note of the times communicated on board and be ready to depart on time
