The biggest impact on Wroclaw's culinary traditions in the modern time was from two countries – Germany and Poland.
Therefore you are invited to a unique food tasting, which connects both pre-war German and post-war Polish cuisine. Traditional dishes and unusual combinations of flavours create an extraordinary introduction to the culinary heritage of the city.
During the tour you will taste: Hekele (germ. Häckerle); a herring dish, Silesian dumplings with sweet sauce, two kinds of Bigos : Wrocławski - a stew made of red cabbage, meat, apples and raisins and Staropolski - a dish made of various finely chopped meats stewed with sauerkraut and shredded fresh cabbage, Zurek wrocławski –a sour soup and pierogi ruskie - filled dumplings . You'll wash this down with some beer Schops and a shot of Baczewski vodka.
