Explore the incredible Yorkshire Dales on this full-day tour from York.
The first stop on this beautiful excursion is Jervaulx Abbey where there’ll be a 40-minute break for tea and coffee, with an optional walk around the Abbey ruins. You’ll continue on through the gently sloping Dales towards Bolton Castle, one of England’s best-preserved medieval castles and you’ll be able to hear about the imprisonment of Mary Queen of Scots.
Afterwards, you’ll journey on through the stunning Yorkshire landscapes towards Aysgarth Falls. Admire the famous waterfalls and enjoy this amazingly scenic stop - don’t forget to take photos!
There will be a lunch stop in the charming market town of Hawes, home to the Wensleydale Creamery and array of cheeses. Explore the creamery and have a taste of the real Dales in their sample room before traveling back to York. There’ll be stops along the way so you can take in and photograph everything the Dales have to offer.
