On this fun walking tour, your masked guide will acquaint you with the story of the Venetian Carnival. You'll discover the history of the masks, once used to hide a person's identity, and learn how they are made.
Casanova was a great lover and adventurer, and extremely extravagant. Born in Venice, he grew up in the area of San Samuele. Following your guide through the narrow calle (alleys), you'll pass right in front of his home, as well as the house of the famous poet Giorgio Baffo, who introduced the young Casanova to worldly pleasures.
Learn about the Ridotto, the first casino in Venice and meeting place for Casanova and the Venetian Aristocracy. Listen to fascinating stories about the Venetian courtesans who did their part to make the city as animated as possible.
