What to expect

Andalusia is synonymous with horses and heritage, and this half-day tour wraps it all up into one package. You'll explore the historic white village of Medina Sidonia and visit the Yeguada stud to watch a fascinating display of Spanish horsemanship before.

Your day kicks off at the historic town of Medina Sidonia. Located atop a strategic hill, its winding alleys have witnessed the rise and fall of countless civilisations. Enjoy a guided tour and free time, taking in top sights such as the castle ruins and the Gothic-Renaissance Church of St Mary the Crowned.

Then it's on to Yeguada de la Cartuja – Hierro del Bocado stud farm in the grounds of a former Carthusian monastery. Here, you'll witness the strength and beauty of renowned Andalusian horses in a show that features free-running colts, classical dressage and more. You'll also get a sneak peek into the stallion yard, harness room, coach houses and mare barn.
