In Florence, dinner isn’t just another meal, it’s a cultural experience. It’s not hard to find good food in Florence, but if you really want to eat as the Florentines do, join this tour and follow a local foodie along as you visit wine bars, restaurants, gelaterias and more!
You’ll start your tour in the charming Oltrarno neighborhood where your guide will introduce you to the best local meats, cheeses (particularly pecorino), olive oils, and even the famous Tuscan truffles. After you've warmed up, head to Piazza Santo Spirito and into an enoteca, or wine bar, for a tour of the cellars and an aperitivo (small plates) of three local wines and crostini.
Save some room, because next, you'll sit down at a Florentine restaurant to try one of Tuscany's famous soups, a traditional starter and a second course that will showcase Florentines' famous love of meat. It's not quite over though. The last stop will be at our favorite gelateria in Florence to grab a cup of your favorite gelato.
