    About the tower:

The One World Observatory is at the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, located on the 100th - 102nd floors of the One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, New York City. This location offers views of the most iconic sights of New York City including both the water and the skyline. Guests can explore the various levels of the observatory filled with interactive and inspirational displays. Experience the incredible elevator ride to the top of the fourth tallest building in the world.

The 104-story super structure shares a name with the northern tower of the original World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Built as a symbolic response to this tragedy, it was originally known as the 'Freedom Tower' and many still refer to it by this name. The new skyscraper stands on the northwest corner of the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center site, on the site of the original 6 World Trade Center.
