Explore the neighborhood of Montmartre while tasting savory local food! Our local experts will lead you through some of the most beautiful parts of Paris and stop at different restaurants to try French specialties.
Here is an overview of what you'll taste:
Unlike what you think, an entrée is a starter. You'll probably taste the famous “pâté”, breaded meat or paste meat mixed with different herbs and vegetables, very good and often eaten with cornichon (pickles). The “Oeuf Mimosa”, hard-boiled eggs, mixed with mustard mayonnaise and other seasonings.
You'll eventually get the meaning of the well-known 'cheese' before taking a picture. You'll try some of the most popular French cheeses such as Comté, Camembert, Roquefort.
You'll taste the “Onglet de boeuf sauce foie gras”, a piece of meat seasoned with a wonderful foie gras sauce! Or the “Confit de canard”, duck cooked in its own fat and seasoned with different herbs. All accompanied by a wonderful glass of French wine! For the main course, there will be an option of meat, fish or vegetable dish.
Get ready to try different amazing pastries options! Try the “Fondant au chocolat,” a chocolate cake with an excellent melty chocolate middle; the “Tarte au citron meringue”, a lemon tart with a meringue whipped cream topping; or the “Café gourmand” including a coffee accompanied by mini desserts.
You will walk around Montmartre and at the end stop at the Sacre Cœur and enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Paris.
