Koh Hey Island, also known as Coral Island, lies a short boat ride from Phuket, making it an ideal destination for a half-day escape. After hotel pick-up, you'll travel by speedboat from Phuket, enjoying views over the Andaman Sea as you head towards the island.

Once there, you'll have time to unwind on the beach, swim in the clear, shallow waters or simply enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. The sea conditions make this a comfortable spot for gentle swimming and for families travelling with children.

If you’d like to be more active, a range of water sports is available, including snorkelling, jet skiing and parasailing. The coral reefs close to the shore offer a chance to observe marine life just beneath the surface.

Those preferring a slower pace can relax on the beach with a drink or visit one of the beachside restaurants serving Thai dishes, all with views across the sea.

Your day starts at the Royal Phuket Marina, where the TUI lounge welcomes you with light snacks and a quick rundown of what's ahead. Once you're all set, you'll hop aboard the Valerie24 power catamaran and cruise towards the Phi Phi Islands.Your first stop is Bamboo Island, a stretch of white sand and clear water that's perfect for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. Then, you'll swing by Monkey Beach to spot the island's cheeky wild residents from a distance before heading to one of Phi Phi Don's coral reefs for a snorkel session.
