It's hard to describe the feeling when you watch the Northern Lights dancing in the sky. It is definitely an experience of a lifetime.
This is a small group tour, with local guides who pick out locations away from the crowds and city lights. Once you arrive you will set up some cozy chairs and blankets that are on board to keep you warm while waiting for the lights. Hot chocolate, typical Icelandic liquor (Brennivin), and Icelandic "Kleina" add up to the experience.
Once the guide finds a good spot, you will jump out of the car and prepare your cameras. Of course, your knowledgeable guide can assist you with the camera settings in case you need help. Don't worry if you don't have a camera, they have you covered: the guide will take professional photos during the tour and you will be given free access to all photos the next day.
Even with the best of guides, sightings can never be guaranteed. In case the guide can't find any lights on the tour, you are welcome to book again for a Group Northern Lights Tour another day. Just inform the tour operator before 2.00pm the next day, so you can be guaranteed a seat.
