Enjoy nature at its finest on this 20-km along the two rivers, Loja and Gauja.
You'll start to hike where these two rivers meet and continue to the Devil’s Cave. Together with your guide you will see magnificent sandstone outcrops along the Loja River. A wild path leads you through the woods and steep bluffs. At lunchtime you'll make a stop, to have home-made sandwiches and hot tea/coffee.
Once re-energized, you'll visit a bobsleigh track from the 20th century where you'll hear about the wonderful story about a man who devoted his life to this sport. At the turning point towards Gauja River you'll walk through a small village that has preserved its Soviet looks till nowadays. On the way back to the starting point you'll hike along the Gauja River, the longest river in Latvia.
